Our Vapor Mitigation System Solutions
Vapor intrusion is the movement of chemical vapors from contaminated soil/groundwater into overlying buildings.
At Vapor Control Solutions, we help our clients take control of their vapor intrusion mitigation needs through testing, design/implementation, and monitoring performance for the long-term.
we are specialized, experienced professionals with a singular focus of addressing vapor intrusion related concerns.
For over 25 years, we have provided custom and comprehensive vapor intrusion mitigation solutions to a wide variety of clients through our proven process.

Monitor/Compliance
To achieve optimal mitigation, it is often necessary to perform pressure field extension (PFE) testing, which measures the amount of suction a system creates under every area of the building footprint. With PFE, we can engineer a system that creates the suction necessary to fully inhibit chemical vapor from entering the building.
Many factors come in to play for the short term and long-term effectiveness of a vapor mitigation system.
The types of chemicals in soil and/or groundwater
Concentrations of contaminants
Condition, age, history of the building
Air pressure dynamics within the building
Results of PFE testing
Building owners aesthetics requirements
With years of experience installing vapor mitigation systems, VCS works effectively and efficiently to install quickly and collaboratively with the client to everyone project expectations.
Vapor Control Solutions will confirm the performance and effectiveness of the system to ensure safe building occupancy and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements; and provide documentation that can be incorporated into due care plans.
Depending on the type of vapor mitigation system that is installed, the occupancy, and other factors, ongoing telemetric monitoring of the system maybe required by the state environmental regulatory agency or requested by the client.
